A lot of older Champions, 1975 through about 1989, had these "Down Seats" in the driver/ passenger position. They act as a lid to under seat storage compartments and more importantly they fold forward allowing the live well lids behind the seat to open and lean back to make a comfortable seat. These seats are available at $92.00 each
